"Perky" by Bailey on our House Hunting trip to Nova Scotia...he always finds a travel buddy!

Our Pumbaa tree....transplanted as a mere sapling from the middle of a garden, the day after Hurricane Juan (Sep/Oct ? 2003)...the day the trees came down....it is doing SOOOOO well!!!

Our neighbour said that day that planting that wee little sapling amidst the noise of chainsaws clearing up the wreckage of uprooted giants all over was an 'exercise in faith'....we are so thrilled to see our tree five years later (we've been away for three).

Family Reunion month begins with a Lane/Werry BBQ at Wes Lane's cottage....this year it is the 3rd Werry Family Reunion and the 135th annual Werry family picnic(paternal grandfather's side)!...Maybe even a Rickard Family Picnic this year (paternal grandmother's side).....
